What a Memorable Experience

Well everyone, Donovan’s birthday party was in ICE CREAM SUCCESS! Picture the cutest room with a table of champagne glasses and champagne for the adults and two tables of the cutest little menus for ice cream sundaes.

Colleen added little car stickers to each menu!

As our guests came in they were immediately greeted by Colleen and Paul (read more about them here), owners of Shug’s and the best hosts that anyone could EVER ask for!

My favorite part was the champagne! haha

With quarters in the kid’s little hands, that was their ticket to a fun ride on the old fashioned horse ride that each kid gleefully rode.

I would definitely recommend Shug’s as a place for ANY get together and while the ice cream and treats are delicious, it was the owners, Colleen and Paul, that made the experience that much more memorable, relaxing, and fun. I am so excited to keep Shug’s as one of our favorite spots to visit and now it’s even more meaningful when we go so that we can say hi to Colleen and Paul!

I just LOVE my handsome man!

We were so lucky to have my parents (read more about them here) out here in the great city of Seattle. I LOVE their genuine awe and interest of the city being that they are from the farm land of Eastern Oregon. We visited Carpinitos Pumpkin Patch in Kent and showed them a common and fun tradition for families out here to visit a pumpkin patch.

Donovan’s actual birthday is this Wednesday where he will turn 4 years old! Stay tuned for a special blog post centered around this amazing young fella.
