Drink, Eat, and Dance-My Favorite Combo (Sunset Supper)
These are the nights to remember.
The beautiful, warm, summer nights in Seattle are unlike any other. Let’s be
honest, we Seattlites are the first to run to Costco or Walmart for a standalone
air conditioner the SECOND we feel the warmth of 90 degree weather and
throughout the day we may be dying and showing that glow of sweat but once the
7:00 pm time rolls around, the relief of the cool Seattle weather gives us even
more of a reason to LOVE Seattle summer.
I was able to enjoy this
perfect summer night and kick off my weekend on Friday night by partaking in
the much anticipated annual Sunset Supper at Pike Place Market. The Market is
such a special, family spot for Tony and I.

We visit the market as often as we
can and after learning the history and knowing the philosophy behind Pike Place
Market, my heart has grown even more for this valuable Seattle spot.
The Pike Place MarketFoundation raises money to provide support to the surrounding neighborhoods
through providing services such as childcare, housing, food etc…The foundation
supports unity and continues to set an example of work ethic and love.
Sunset Supper is an event
that is made where ticket proceeds are donations toward the foundation. After
knowing about this event year after year, I finally jumped on the chance to
purchase my ticket and attended this amazing and FUN FUN FUN event! Every
dollar amount in that ticket was worth it! This was such a perfect way for one
to experience the heart of the people of Seattle. The food created by such talented
chefs, the wine, the gorgeous display of desserts, the breweries of every beer
lovers dreams, the distilleries that focused on one of my favorite liquor
(whiskey) and the music made a combination of a night to always remember.
I attended with my friend,
Shea and once we go there, we could feel the energy and excitement brought by
the people and the eagerness of the vendors. The impressive vendors list
showcased some the most talented restaurants, breweries, sweet shops, distilleries
and wineries in our beloved Washington state.
I very much encourage you
all to consider attending! Keep in mind that the wine, spirits, cider and beer
are endlessly flowing, so the only thing that I would have changed for the
night is planning ahead and staying the night at the Four Seasons close to the
Market. At the end of night, Shea and I were feeling pretty toasty and enjoying
the generous pours of each winery and brewery.
By FAR my FAVORITE drink of the night!!!
Running into fabulous friends was another highlight of the night!
I am already looking
forward to next year and I might even take Tony. Just kidding, because of the
dancing and the music, I am FOR SURE going to take Tony since he LOVE to dance
in circles around me!
I know those last few pictures are fuzzy, but this pretty much
sums up the night!
XOXOXO
Tiff
