Treat Yo Self in Seattle!
One of our favorite things
to do is head onto Yelp and find a new restaurant to try out. Or if there is a
new eating spot for ANYTHING, you will find Tony and I there on a date night or
family night with Donovan. Also, HUGE excuse for me to buy a new outfit! I was OBSESSED with my Valentine's Day look!

I was SO proud of Tony
because for Valentine’s Day, he picked the restaurant, made the reservation (in
December!) and arranged child care! Although arranging childcare is ALWAYS a
win in my book, the restaurant that Tony chose was the winner for this date!
Heartwood Provisions is
the perfect spot for dinner for two which Tony and I had experienced on
Valentine’s Day and now I am envisioning it for Happy Hour with my girlfriends.
Not only was the food divine, but the esthetics, atmosphere and layout of the restaurant was my FAVORITE part. You will be doing yourself a huge favor by checking this place out and taking your girlfriends or significant other!

I ordered the Emmer Risotto with added chicken and Tony ordered the Roasted Scallops-both were amazing and both do not disappoint. Heartwood Provisions Menu
Last Friday night to kick
off our weekend, we tried out the new ice cream spot that opened this month,
Salt and Straw in Capitol Hill.
OHHHH MYYY GOSHHHH!!!!!! If you are a salt/savory lover like me, then you need to come here! The amazing aspect about this place, is that they cater to the Seattle quality by adding local, well known ingredients such as Theo Chocolates, Rachel’s Ginger Beer, Ellenos Yogurt and EVEN Beecher’s Cheese WITH Peppercorn Toffee (don’t knock it till you try it!)

I had the Theo’s Big DaddyS’mores with the salty graham crackers and chocolate ice cream…this is to DIE
FOR!!! Tony ordered the Rachel’s Raspberry Ginger Beer; I normally do not like
fruity ice cream, but this one was sooooo so delicious! And of course Donovan
went for his chocolate desire, The Chocolate Gooey Brownie.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the
food, drink, brunch, treats, ice cream and happy hours that Seattle has to
offer! Part of the reason why I started this blog was to experience and write
about all that Seattle has to offer. It has gotten Tony and I out of our known
places and really see the culture of Seattle.
Thank you for reading and
stay tuned for more and more Seattle experiences!!!!
XOXOX
